TWR (Te Whare Ra) Marlborough Pinot Gris 2013

Some serious winemaking input has resulted in a wine that is flavourful and complex. 40% of the fruit was fermented on old French oak barrels and the result is a wine with a luscious, full palate weight to carry the savoury pear, sweet red apple and mineral characters that linger for a very long time in the finish. This may be a dry wine but the lush palate weight and deep fruit concentration make it a super wine.
