The Winemakers Collection is a wine made in small volumes using only the finest parcels of fruit from the Seifried Estate Vineyards. Because the fruit is so good when harvested the winemakers use every trick in their arsenal to make a wine that reflects the quality of the fruit. This example is rich, powerful and elegant. Layers of flavour range from ripe stonefruit to toasted nuts and spiced oak. This is a complex style chardonnay that is outstanding value for money.   Re-tasted 18.10.14 Grapefruit, delicate creamy malo and sweet oak aromas. This is a rich, mouth-filling wine, packed with stonefruit and soft oak flavours. Made from Mendoza clone chardonnay grapes the wine is intense yet finely balanced with refined acidity in the finish. The extra bottle age makes it very approachable now and should cellar well for another 3 – 5 years. 4.5*
