Seifried Estate Nelson Pinot Gris 2015

This is lovely delicious wine with ripe pear characters. With layers of soft spice in the long fisish this is a wine that relies on fruit quality and not high alcohol to give texture and deliciousness to the wine. It is a super wine that is seductively textural – you just want 'one more glass please'. While the residual sugar is relatively high the ripe acid balance of the wine is such that it isn’t sweet to drink. It is all about perception and this wine is perceived as off-dry and delicious rather than sweet.
