Seifried Estate Nelson Gruner Veltliner 2015

Luscious up front texture in the mouth with ripe green apple characters that come form the ripe acidity, elegant mineral notes also highlight the fruit freshness. This is a moreish textural wine with great flavour and balance, a reasonably new variety for Seifried Estate but one that is starting to develop character as vines get older. They have the variety growing on two of their eight vineyard sites – at Brightwater and Edens Road, both of which have river gravel influenced soils.
