Richmond Plains Blanc de Noir 2013
This is a white wine made from Pinot Noir grapes but pressed very gently so the only colour is a hint of pink from the red grape skins. The result is a wine that is rich and delicious and doesn’t taste like Pinot Noir. Rather it has flavours of white peach and ripe nectarines. Soft pear flavours in the long finish have gently spiced citrus notes making this a very nice glass of wine. Perfect with seafood and pork - 4 ½ stars from me.
