Old Coach Road Sauvignon Blanc 2015

This is a lovely textural wine in the mouth with firm powdery mineral characters in the texture. Flavours are bright and clean focused on tropical fruits of passionfruit with juicy lime based acidity. Dry minerality in the finish. A lovely wine, clean flavours and textures and with nice tension between fruit ripeness and fresh mineral based acidity. Sauvignon Blanc is grown on each of Seifried Estates eight vineyards with some 30 tanks of varying sizes produced. The vineyards have a range of vine age and when combined with the volume of wine produced they have lots of options for blending when it come to bottling time. With a gold medal already tucked under its belt expect to see more accolades for this wine.
