Neudorf Moutere Chardonnay 2011
On release the wine was described as having "citrus fruits wrapped with praline, subtle oak and mineral notes".
Five years after release the sulfite textural characters have evolved to influence the flavours as well, A rich, lush palate with firm stonefruit and licquorice flavours evolve from behind the upfront struck-match notes. Juicy, focused acidity in the very long finish ensures the flavours linger and continue to evolve in the mouth. A finely crafted wine.
