Left Field Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay 2014

Fully oaked style but palate upfront is packed with bright, almost sour, citrus characters, grapefruit and lemon flavours abound. The very firm acidity and oak spice in the finish demands this is enjoyed with food. For me the finish is a little too harsh and reminiscent of unripe acidity.
