Kahurangi Estate Nelson Pinot Gris 2016
When you taste it the wine has a medium to full palate weight with flavours that have focused spice characters to compliment the pear and ripe red apple notes. Incredibly long finish with nice juicy acidity that turns it into a delicious wine.
The Winemaker says:
Vineyard - Our Nelson Pinot Gris was selected from four of our contract growers in the Nelson region
Soil - Predominantly from vineyards situated on ancient river beds with sotny, alluvial soils.
Vintage Conditions - A hot Summer provided the base for an early vintage. Rain just prior slowed down the ripening down somewhat but good fruit flavours developed in the picked fruit.

Fermentation / Maturation - 100% Stainless Steel
Alcohol - %
Residual Sugar - 6 g/L
Total Acidity - 7.3 g/L
