Folding Hill Pinot Noir 2012
This is a powerful wine with outstanding complexity and stunning mouthfeel. While the wine is dry it has a rich, ripe fruit characters hanging from a fine tannin structure. The ripe acidity gives the wine a delightful juicy finish. This is another impressive wine from a producer that is delivering consistently excellent Pinot Noirs. Unfiltered and unfined it retains all of those fine characters that add to the complexity but can be lost if a pinot is filtered too heavily.
