Esk Valley Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2014

Full, soft mouth  feel with very soft tropical fruit notes - melon, pineapple. Long dry finish but lacks brightness expected of young Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Hot alcohol bite in he finish. Made from a blend of fruit grown in both the Wairau and Awatere Valleys in Marlborough, this is another example of a wine with soft and over ripe flavours as a result of a wet 2014 vintage in Marlborough.
