Domain De La Baume Chardonnay 2013

This is full-on chardonnay. I have visited this winery in the South of France and the wines they produce are a really good example of how modern winemaking techniques are used to make very good wines from old vines in the South. this is big, bold and packed with flavour. From ripe white peach to creaming soda in the mid palate and a long juicy finish. Only downside is it lacks a little refinement that would turn it into a great wine.
