Brightwater Vineyards ‘Sophies Kiss’ Rose 2014
Brightwater Vineyards only made about 80 cases of Sophies Kiss Rose. The same effort went into growing the fruit and making the wine as went into their premium Pinot Noir and it shows in the finished wine. The wine tastes dry but has a small amount of residual sugar that gives the mouthfeel a delicious fullness. This may be the first Pinot Noir Rose produced by Brightwater Vineyards but it is an outstanding wine and you can expect it to get many five star ratings, including from me, to add to the gold medal it picked up at its very first show.
