Aronui Pinot Gris 2013

This Nelson wine has won a bucket load of gold medals and will be perfect with left over ham and other delicious foods on Boxing Day. This isn’t your everyday Pinot Gris, it has layers of flavours, from ripe and slightly sweet pear to mandarin and grapefruit citrus characters wrapped around juicy spiced acidity in the long finish. This is Nelson, and in fact New Zealand, Pinot Gris at its best.
