Nelson’s Blood

This cocktail was created by Nick as his entry for the New Zealand round of the Glenfarclas Cocktail Competition in 2018 of which he won and took out the New Zealand ambassadorship of the brand. This cocktail topped more than 25 entries from around New Zealand and we reckon you will love it too.

Ingredients:

45ml Pussers Rum (40%)
15ml Solerno Blood Orange
15ml lime juice
15ml grapefruit/blood orange shrub
50ml cranberry juice
2 dash orange bitters
10ml Aquafaba

Method:

Shake all ingredients together in a cocktail shaker with ice. Double strain into highball glass filled
with ice.

Garnish with a Maraschino cherry speared through an orange slice & bar-spoon of Maraschino syrup
